Movie Theater

I have missed the echoes of our laughter
As we sink into our recliner chairs
I have missed feeling content right after
Letting me catch my breath from my affairs

My eyes sparkled at the pre-show trailers
With each trailer, my expectation grows
I’ll get to explore new feats like sailors
From action to comedies to love shows

Darkness and quietness cover the room
Sipping on my slushie; eating candy
The screen lights up so do I, no more gloom
Watching the pre-shows was just as dandy

Many choices of theatres, yet movies win
My face always brightens up with the biggest grin
